“Harmony” is one of the core categories of Chinese culture, which is not only a way of thinking for the Chinese nation, but also an ideal goal. The unity of human and universe is the highest state of harmony and the ultimate goal of Chinese aesthetics. “Harmony” is also an important category of Western aesthetics. “Harmony” is an ideal realm pursued by both Chinese and Western aesthetics.
