The construction of a modern Chinese aesthetics of “harmony” has achieved a great deal, enriching and enhancing the connotation and quality of aesthetics. Through the reception and transformation of the resources of Chinese and Western theories of harmony, modern Chinese aestheticians have built a modern framework of the aesthetics of “harmony” which combines perspectives on life, beauty and artistic realm.
