(Abstract)
Pan Kaixiong
From We Sow Love, Anecdotes of the Western Front, Background Color to The Story of Towing the Wind, Xu Huaizhong’s career as a writer lasted for more than 60 years. “Topics” have always been accompanied by the whole process of his creation, in which the four elements of war, humanity, emotion and revolutionary humanitarianism are closely related. These topics have the cosmopolitanism and universality of excellent war literature, which also confirms the literary value and the significance of the times of Xu Huaizhong’s creation.
