The Sinicization and Contemporiness of Marxist Art Production Theory

Marxist art production theory has had an important influence on the past fortyyear development of Chinese literary theory since reform era. In the past four decades, Chinese scholars have applied marxist art production theory to the discussion of the nature of literature and art, proposing to replacing the art reflection theory with art production theory, and then putting up an enriched perspective on the nature of literature and art to include both inclusive art reflection theory, and ideology theory. Taking art production theory as a logical starting point or theoretical basis, a contemporary form of literary theory and the system of artistic production theory have been constructed as the Chinese-style Marxist art production theory.Marxist art production theory as applied to the interpretation of contemporary Chinese art production has uncovered the attributes of art and the secret of commodification of art goods, explored the relationship between the development of art and science and technology, examined the development of art industrialization and the art industry, combined Marxist art production theory and contemporary Chinese art production practice, and promoted the Sinicization and contemporiness of Marxist art production theory.
