Ge Liang’s Novels from the Perspective of Lingnan Culture

The cultures of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area share common roots, deeply embedded in Lingnan culture, particularly Guangfu culture. Ge Liang’s novels are grounded in the Guangfu cultural backdrop of Guangzhou, Foshan and Hong Kong, blending elements of Jiangnan culture. His works skillfully manage various aspects of history, culture, folklore, and language, demonstrating unique aesthetic sensibilities, skills, and understanding.
