Key Topics and Future Trends of Research on Urban Cultural Space

The academic research on urban cultural space has received increasing attention under the advancement of its booming construction practice. At present, the key topics in the study of urban cultural space in China include clarifying its types and characteristics; paying attention to the research on man-land relationship; analyzing the modifying and upgrading approaches; comprehensively grasping the governance issue; exploring the digital transformation and development; and building local theories and methods. Centering on which, to summarize and conclude the main research content and applied methods, to analyze the main problems existing in the current research and to predict the future trends of research, have great theoretical and practical significance for improving China’s research quality of urban cultural space.
