Su Jinyan

Since General Secretary Xi Jinping made a clear request for journal construction and the evaluation of achievements in philosophy and the social sciences at the Symposium on Philosophy and Social Sciences, China recently has issued a number of policies related to journal evaluation. On the basis of analyzing these policies, combined with the work on journal evaluation in 2018, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Evaluation Studies designed an evaluation model for humanities and social sciences journals, constructed an evaluation index system consisting of four types: one-vote veto index, scoring index, deduction index, and observation index, summarized the five principles for conducting journal evaluation, and answered relevant questions in the process of journal evaluation implementation through case studies.
