On November 30, Beijing Foreign Studies University held the opening ceremony for both its EU Language and Culture Teaching and Research Consortium and its Asian and African Language and Culture Teaching and Researching Platform at its campus in Beijing.
Currently within China, BSFU’s EU Language and Culture Teaching and Research Consortium is the only platform which covers all official languages of EU member states within all of its departments. The Asian and African Language and Culture Teaching and Researching Consortium focuses on cultivating excellent multilingual talent who have mastered the lingua franca of their chosen fields.
The Chinese version appeared on Chinese Social Sciences Today, No.388. Dec.5.2012.
