Research on interchangeable characters of ancient Chinese prose made a breakthrough

One glossary book for interchangeable characters in China 
On February 16th, Li Chuntao from Institute of Ancient Works at Jilin University made progress in studying on interchangeable characters (with same pronunciation and meaning but different characters) of ancient Chinese prose. His project “Systematic study on interchangeable characters of ancient Chinese prose” has made the approval of the 2012 Annual National Social Science Fund. He will publish a dictionary for interchangeable characters in ancient Chinese prose to show his research’s final achievements.
