The Construction of Cultural Subjectivity in Modern Chinese Civilization

Chinese-style modernization is rooted in the specific social conditions, historical environment and cultural traditions of the Chinese nation, and has always carried out the theme of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, which is very different from Western modernization in terms of its premise. The concept of civilization that has been gradually formed in the process of Chinese-style modernization has a strong vitality and development prospect. It will certainly become an important element of modern Chinese civilization. The construction of the cultural subjectivity of the Chinese nation adheres to the historical principle of historical materialism. It helps to overcome the ahistorical shortcomings of modern Western civilization to build Chinese modern civilization, so as to realize the “spiritual independence” of the Chinese nation and lead the process of human civilization.
