General Secretary Xi Jinping’s discussion of “classical literary images” is rich in connotation and has a wide scope for theoretical extension. It is the product of comprehensive artistic creation, combining the artistic characteristics of different artistic media and evoking the most universal aesthetic common sense with the most distinctive and intuitive aesthetic effects, and the “essence” of its “creative production” requires more advanced means of expression, striving to present a new realm of greater substance and potential.
