Literary Evolution in the Perspective of Chinese Civilization

The characteristics of “continuity” and “unity” in Chinese civilization reveal the inherent consistency and relevance of the development lineage of Chinese culture itself. The characteristics of “inclusiveness” and “peace” demonstrate the assimilating ability and values of Chinese culture. “Innovation” is the driving mechanism that maintains characteristics such as continuity, unity, inclusiveness, and peace. Modern Chinese civilization is the integration of individual civilization, ethnic civilization, and human civilization, and its important value connotation is the concept of “common value of humanity.” Based on this, we can better understand the occurrence and development of Chinese culture over the past century and its reflection in the literary world from the perspective of integrating internal mechanisms and external dynamics.
