Exploring the Indigenous Research Path for Contemporary Urban Literature

To reconstruct the indigenous research path for contemporary urban literature, it is necessary to restore the open meaning of the concept of “urban literature,” pay attention to the literary narratives of different cities, and enrich the cultural connotations of urban literature research; at the same time, it is vital to study the intrinsic correlation between the unique process of urbanization in contemporary China and the urban-rural relationship in urban literature, re-examine the urban-rural life experience of contemporary Chinese people with the vision of the transformation of modern civilization in cities, and provide indigenous critical theories that are in line with the tradition and reality of Chinese urban culture.
