The Characteristics and Development Trend of Mixed-Media Literary and Art Criticism

Mixed-media literary criticism is not only cross-artistic, but also cross-media and interactive. Its form of discourse, aesthetic value and dissemination mechanism are different from those of traditional literary and art criticism, reflecting distinctive media-oriented thinking and a mixed-media nature. To build mixed-media literary and art criticism, we need to study the way of creating mixed-media literature and art, abandon the mechanical application of Western theories, basing on Chinese culture, focus on “online + offline” criticism which is in accordance with online media, and continuously promote the practice of mixed-media literary and art criticism with Chinese characteristics.
