Three Approaches to the Study of Chinese Children’s Literature
(Abstract)
Zhu Ziqiang
At present, the study of Chinese children’s literature has made great achievements, but there are still many problems that need to be solved in research methods. Some of the studies involving factual descriptions have led to errors due to superficiality and even misunderstanding. Therefore, we should advocate the method of “gazing” the research object to ensure the authenticity and accuracy of the study. In response to the theoretical and intellectual weaknesses of other studies, we should advocate the “scrutinizing” approach, which emphasizes the insight into the essence and meaning of the research object. The “inspection” method emphasizes academic dialogue and debate, and promotes reflective consciousness and critical spirit.
