Philosophical Issues of Cognitive Science in Contemporary Russian Philosophy
(Abstract)
В. А. Лекторский
Research and reflection on cognitive science has attracted growing attention among scholars of Russian philosophy as the core issue of contemporary Russian philosophy, especially in the field of epistemology. Digital technologies have been developed on the basis of work in the fields of AI and cognitive science research, and the use of these technologies has led to the digitalization of all of life: economic, social, cultural and interpersonal relations have all been digitized, and cognitive science research has promoted the emergence of modern standpoints in the fields of philosophy of consciousness and epistemology. Big data technology has extensive connections with contemporary philosophical epistemology, and has even led people to re-examine Kant’s three classic philosophical questions and draw subversive conclusions. We should understand total digitalization as being a revolution for the human race. In this sense, comprehensive digitalization should include such philosophical issues as new views on cognition, on the human personality, and on human future.
