On the Beauty of the Chinese Drama Principle “Original Character with Professionalism”

“Original character with professionalism” is a key word in the history of Chinese drama aesthetics, which has been widely and frequently used for a long time. Drama language is an important representation of the external aesthetic features of “original character with professionalism”, emphasizing unique harmony among simplicity, originality, elegance and vulgarity. It is an inevitable aesthetic choice of drama aesthetic theorists based on the ontological characteristic of drama art, writers, performers and audiences, and the theory of Chinese poetics.
