Finance and the Modernization of the County Governance System: An Economic and Sociological Study of County Society(Abstract)

The impact of current economic financialization continues to spread. The county’s fiscal revenue, urban construction, investment promotion and industrial development are increasingly affected by the financial system and financial ideas. High local debt, financial dependence on land, local shell platform companies, and difficulty in financing small and medium-sized enterprises are typical examples of issues that have a serious effect on county governance and development capabilities. Based on an accurate grasp of the county’s financial difficulties, we need to strengthen financial and fiscal reform, optimize county government management models, build a financial system that meets the needs of county governments and enterprises, and provide solid industrial and economic support for the modernization of county governance.
