New trends in the “going abroad” of Chinese internet literature can be observed from three aspects: the mode of translation, the payment mechanism, and original creation system, which shows that the oversea transmission has stepped from the content output to model output. This paper examines two different paths: one is the international expansion promoted by the domestic company “webnovel”, and the other is “wuxiaworld” that was grown out of the volunteering efforts among oversea fans of Chinese martial art novels. Owing to their competition and collaboration, the local model of Chinese internet literature has been successfully internationalized, which not only enlarges its global influence, but also attempts to work out a Chinese solution to the emergence of worldwide network literature.
