Philosophy and Social Sciences Awards: Some Reflections on System Construction and Policy-Making(Abstract)
Su Jinyan
In order to set up a sound award system for philosophy and social sciences in China, we should make discussions on the purposes, objects, types and levels of awards, and summarize the awards in the seven major categories, i.e., philosophy, economics, law, pedagogy, literature, history and management. On this basis, we can make policy recommendations about the establishment of a special institution for philosophy and social sciences awards, the setting up of reasonable levels of awards, the extension of awards receivers, the relevant evaluation system and so on.
