Trial of uncertainties: between convergence and divergence

(Abstract)

Alfredo Pena-Vega

Uncertainty can stimulate attention, vigilance, curiosity and inquietude, which in turn can promote gradual formation of cognitive strategies through the modes of connaissance in the work on the uncertain, blurred, contingent and coincident. In this sense, uncertainty is not the product of the immature and incompleteness in a field of epistemology, because no one know how large the scope of his or her ignorance is. Today, as our knowledge keeps on increasing, it seems that there is other vision of the world or a new situation at least: uncertainty, contingency, coincidence or chance are attached importance rather than dismissed.
