A Diagram of Innovative Paradigm of Contemporary China’s Marxist Philosophy

When researching the academic history of innovation in contemporary China’s Marxist philosophy, we must get through the phenomenon of “history of names of people and those of books” to reach the right logic of academic innovation, and profoundly grasp the innovation and alternation of research paradigms as the “methodological consciousness” while profoundly describing the visions of academic evolution of Marxist philosophy, namely sinicization, renewal keeping up with times and popularization. Research paradigms, as the behavior norms, general method and basic path of a self-conscious research team, are the emphatic embodiment of way of thinking of times, and the foundation and soul of academic insights, views and theoretical innovation. The change of each important research paradigm will lead to the total change of diagram of history of an innovative theory. In the diagram of academic history of contemporary China’s Marxist philosophy, which advocates the emancipation of mind and the keenness in innovation, the reform of textbooks, the research into principles, text-philological interpretations, the history of Marxist philosophy, the dialogue with Chinese and Western philosophy, the self-reflective problemology, department philosophy, the sinicization of Marxism, and the studies of emergence of Marxism, successively become the research paradigm to boost theoretic innovation, and the real logic of theoretical innovation of this era. Relations between multiple paradigms are imbalanced. Important paradigms constitute the axis of the academic diagram. The axis paradigms are expanded into the academic diagram of theoretic innovation by dominating other research paradigms and constitute coordinates. In contemporary China, the four academic diagrams formed by four general axis paradigms build up the evolutional logic of paradigm diagrams after three switches. The revelation of this evolutional logic displays the real structure of history of academic innovation of contemporary China’s Marxist philosophy. One can grasp the evolutional rule of history of this innovation of times only when he seriously investigates various paradigms to push forwards, by means of the way of differences, the relations between theoretical innovation and the total development of contemporary China’s Marxist philosophy.
