The Historical Role of the International Communist Movement during the Global Anti-Fascist War

The issue of the international Communist movement and the global anti-Fascist war is an important topic for this historical era. As a positive force for democracy and peace, the international Communist movement was a firm political cornerstone of the anti-Fascist war. Through its enormous sacrifices and contributions, it became one of the ultimate forces that brought to an end the Fascist political order, thus providing mankind with a just anti-war terrorism, pro-peace idealism direction through its human-centered concern and becoming a major force effectively promoting the development of democracy and peace. On the basis of critical logic, the international Communist movement’s critical reflection upon Fascism provides a value dimension for the building of today’s international security system. On the basis of constructive logic, the international peace ethics practiced by the movement offered an ideological foundation for the building of the new international order. On the basis of development logic, the new model of world civilization pursued by the international Communist movement has become a political exemplar for the current pursuit of international peace. The Communist Party of China, as China’s political backbone and vanguard, has been a non-negligible political power in terms of its influence on the anti-Fascist war, the postwar international Communist movement and the democratization of the world order. Of course, during the anti-Fascist war, the Soviet Union and the Comintern also offered many negative historical lessons. This merits in-depth reflection and summing up.
