Japan’s conservatives have what they want at last,
Now that the new security law has passed.
Its aim, Abe claims, is to preserve the peace,
But, in truth, it has unleashed the beast.
The folly of this warlike frame of mind,
Is that an “eye for an eye” leaves the whole world blind.
Despite all attempts at obfuscation,
Anyone can see what’s behind these machinations.
