The Foundational Impact of the Rural Historical Transformation on the Chinese Path to Modernization

The achievements of the Chinese path to modernization have been recognized across the globe. One of the foundational reasons is attributed to the successful serial historical changes carried out in China’s rural areas since the establishment of the new china for 70-plus years. These historical changes have foundational influence on constructing basic system and material basis of Chinesestyle modernization. Also, they serve as an indispensable and sustainable driving force  and as a necessary guarantee for the safe advancement of Chinese-style modernization. To some extent, without understanding these historical changes in the countryside, it is impossible to explain the indispensable foundational reason for the shaping of Chinese-style modernization, why it is different from the modernization paths of other countries, and why it continues to move forward smoothly.
