(Abstract)

Civilization serves as a significant indicator of societal progress. Marx scientifically revealed the structural characteristics and development goals of human civilization and emphasized that future civilizations should enable the free and comprehensive development of every individual. Modern Chinese civilization has gradually emerged and developed through the historical process of integrating the basic principles of Marx’s theory of civilization with China’s specific realities and fine traditional culture. It represents a socialist form of civilization that embodies mutual exchange and learning between Chinese and world civilizations. To build modern Chinese civilization, it is essential to deeply study Marx’s theory of civilization, continuously progress along the Chinese path to modernization, and promote the creative transformation and innovative development of China’s outstanding traditional culture by extensively absorbing and incorporating the achievements of human civilization. This endeavor aims to propel Chinese civilization to the world stage, contributing Chinese wisdom and Chinese solutions to the progress of human civilization.
