Review and Reflection on the Overseas Dissemination of Chinese Online Literature

After more than 30 years of development,the overseas dissemination of China’s online literature has transformed from copyright output to text output, and then to IP diversified communication and industrialization output, and has achieved rapid development in continuous upgrading and transformation. In order to break through the bottleneck of translation, the online platform has achieved remarkable results through using AI translation, setting up a professional translation team, and training overseas original creators. In this context, reviewing the history and development of the overseas dissemination of Chinese online literature and reflecting on its obvious or potential problems will help us re-understand and summarize the successes and failures of the overseas dissemination of online literature, and promote online novels to better present a credible, lovable and respectable image of China to the world.
