Digital Wealth Creation, Distribution and Common Prosperity

As a new form of social wealth, digital wealth is becoming an important force for promoting common prosperity. In the era of digital economy, digital labor and data are great sources of digital wealth creation. The creation of digital commodity wealth is not only reflected in the process of the formation and multiplication of the value of digital commodities, but also reflected in the process of the extended reproduction of data production means. The creation of digital non-commodity wealth relies on the coordination of multiple supply systems such as governments, enterprises, society and platforms. In the distribution of digital wealth in the socialist market economy, we must adhere to the basic distribution system where distribution according to work is the main body and multiple distribution methods coexist, fully reflect the value contribution of data elements, and also pay attention to and solve the polarization effect that may arise from the distribution of digital wealth. Based on the new stage of development, China should steadily promote the creation and accumulation of digital wealth and scientifically regulate the distribution of digital wealth on the basis of continuously strengthening, improving and expanding the digital economy, so as to solidly promote the common prosperity of all people.
