The Path of the Establishment of a Stable Political System in the Nineteenth Century France in the Comparative Perspective of Political and Social Thought

After the Glorious Revolution, Britain established the most praiseworthy political system in Europe, and the American revolution predicted a beautiful new world for the Europeans. However the nineteenth century French history witnessed the ceaseless conflicts between the revolution and the reaction. What the French liberal political thinkers sought in France was to set up a stable political system based on the successful Anglo-Saxons model. Other nations could learn some lessons from French tortuous process of establishing a modern representative regime.
