A Free Talk on Ai Wei’s Novels

Ai Wei has been writing novels for over twenty years. Through combing the main narrative lines of his novels, we can clearly see the process of Ai Wei’s creative thought transforming and advancing from the sense of avant-garde to the spirit of realism. His recent works reflect real life and reveal the essence of life through more realistic descriptions, life stories and fleshed-out characterization demonstrating Ai Wei’s cultural consciousness to integrate his works into social reality.
