The Activation of Wang Changling’s Theory of Wujing and Its Theoretical Effects: Based on the Perspective of Contemporary Western Environmental Aesthetics

Since Wang Changling put forward wujing (natural scenes), qingjing (emotional context) and yijing (artistic conception), wujing has been regarded as a subordinate aesthetic category and has not solicited due attention. Reinterpretation of wujing from the perspective of contemporary Western environmental aesthetics can obtain the contemporary transformation of traditional theories and reverse the situation of neglected wujing.
