China Annual Conference for International Education 2012     China Annual Conference for International Education 2012 was held in Beijing from October 19 to 21, themed as “Cooperation, Commitment, Contribution, Reciprocation-Education Reshapes the Future of the Changing World”.  The conference is composed of China International Forum on Education 2012, Workshop on Cooperative Programs and China Education Expo 2012.  Mrs. Cornelia Pieper, the Minister of State of Foreign Office of German, attended the conference, as well as many expo groups from 38 countries and regions, such as China, Germany, the United States, the Great Britain, France, etc.   “Education is very important for future reconstruction”, said Zhang Xinsheng, the President of China Education Association for the International Exchange. He indicated that because of the globalization today, how to cultivate integrated and comprehensive internationalization is more important, rather than a single and dispersed one. Global education needs cooperation and experience sharing, so as to educate citizens of the world with international vision, who will make their own historical contribution on a more beautiful future of human society.   “China-Americas Women University Presidents Workshop” and “Sino-Russian Research Leading University Presidents Roundtable” were held as well.   It is reported that as a part of the conference, China Education Expo will also tour to other cities for exhibition, like Xi’an, Chengdu, Shanghai, Wuhan, Changsha, Guangzhou and so on.   (Translated by Yang Lu)
