Ceremony for the foundation of Tsinghua SPPM-Center for Risk Governance The International Risk Governance Council’s (IRGC) annual international conference convened at Tsinghua University from January 9th to January 11th. During the conference, the Center for Risk Governance was established at Tsinghua’s School of Public Policy and Management, and Xue Lan, the school’s dean, will serve as executive director. According to Xue, the new center is committed to fostering connections between academic institutions, increasing public awareness on health, environmental, safety and economic risks, and providing solutions to risk governance.
