A Regional Example of the Transformation of Modern Chinese Civilization: Taking Qingmuchuan as an Example

As Ye Guangqin’s representative work, Qingmuchuan provids a typical regional example for understanding the transformation of Chinese tradition villige culture on the backdrop of modern China through delineating the spatial evolution of homes, schools, and churches in the town of Qingmuchuan. The growth of protagonist Wei Futang stand metaphorizes the difficult exploration of modern Chinese people in a period of historical transition, which serves as a typical regional case about civilization transformation.
