Symposium on Ethnic Culture and Socialist Values held in Xi’an

An academic symposium on promoting ethnic culture and core values of Socialism was held in Xi'an.
On April 2nd to 3rd, the People’s Government of Shaanxi Province and Northwest University co-sponsored an academic symposium titled “Qingming Festival: Promoting Ethnic Culture and Developing the Core Values of Socialism” in Xi’an. Lou Qinjian, deputy secretary of the CPC Shaanxi Provincial Committee and Governor of the Provincial Government, and Li Hongfeng, a member of the CPC Leadership Group of the Ministry of Culture and team leader of the Discipline Inspection Commission were among the notable attendees. In total, more than 70 scholars were involved in the symposium. 
 
The symposium was part of the public memorial ceremony for the Yellow Emperor Xuanyuan in Shaanxi Province. Since 2007, the People’s Government of Shaanxi Province and Northwest University have sponsored seven symposia in four places across the strait. The symposium aimed to promote societal and cultural construction and foster the building of an ecologically minded civilization.
