Overview of China’s Digital Art Development

The concept, technology, creation, exhibition and trading of digital art in China are in line with international trends and at the same time have unique characteristics. Digital art mainly includes the digital presentation of existing works, the use of digital technology to produce fine art works and the use of digital technology to create art, involving concepts related to NFT art, blockchain art, crypto art, meta-universe art, generative art and so on. In the creation of digital art, artists, technical teams, audiences and other subjects are involved in different forms, which leads to a discussion about the subjectivity of the work. Digital art has a variety of online and offline exhibition forms, and NFT has many implications for the collection and trading of digital art. The future development of digital art is promising, new technologies are being used in creation in a more diversified way, and it has a driving effect on the development of science and technology. The impact of artificial intelligence on digital art deserves in-depth research and reflection.
