The Construction of Liberal Arts Laboratories and the Disciplinary Development of Public Management
(Abstract)
Yu Wenxuan and Wu Yongzhao
Within the context of the new liberal arts, traditional approaches to academic research and talent cultivation face formidable challenges. Liberal arts laboratories have consequently emerged against this backdrop. By integrating disciplines across the humanities, sciences, and engineering, these laboratories employ digital tools such as big data, simulations, and experimentation to transform conventional teaching and research paradigms within the liberal arts. This efficient and cost-effective approach facilitates a cyclical relationship between theoretical guidance and practical validation, thereby driving a paradigm shift in liberal arts research. The construction of liberal arts laboratories holds profound implications for research, teaching, and practice in the field of public management, and is poised to become a dynamic force in advancing the discipline in all respects.
