Current Status, Paradigm Construction and Development Prospects of Talent Evaluation Research

A comprehensive review of the current state of talent evaluation research reveals various academic disagreements and position differences in aspects such as disciplinary positioning, theoretical construction, community development, and professional education. The development process also encounters numerous weaknesses and challenges, including weak disciplinary foundations, dispersed disciplinary discourse, and blurred research boundaries. To overcome these issues, it is essential to start from the construction of a basic paradigm for talent evaluation research, promptly establish unified standards for fundamental concepts and issues, and on this basis, seek unity of knowledge beyond the discipline, as well as unity between individual and holistic evaluations, to achieve the goal of leading talent development while respecting the natural laws of talent growth.
