Only Profound Love for the Homeland Runs Deep: A Review of Wang Yuewen’s Newest Novel Home Mountain

As a newest novel by WangYuewen, Home Mountain pools “all his memories about homeland.” A detailed interpretation of these memories reveals that Home Mountain is a work of Wang Yuewen’s retrospect and paying homage to family and kinfolks, and to hometown and countryside, moreover, in-depth thinking on issues of human heart, nature and feelings.
