(Abstract)
Cong Zhichen
Starting from Xu Huaizhong’s We Sow Love, the writings on Tibet, has unceasingly concerned the proposition of modernity on this ancient land while the Trilogy of Tibet probes deeper and more complex domains of the proposition. The works investigate rich connotation of Tibetan culture in the Yunnan-Tibet border region which witnesses the co-residence of multiple ethnic groups and crossover of multiple cultures. Amid the transition from tradition to modernity, he writes about the historical process where exchange and co-existence take place between people from different ethnic groups and with different religious backgrounds, including Tibetans.
