RUC and Cornell promote labor relation research

School of Labor and Human Resources at Renmin University of China signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Industrial Labor Relations (ILR) school at Cornell University on December 3rd in Beijing. Zeng Xiangquan, Dean of the School of Labor and Human Resources at Renmin University of China, said that the ILR is world-renowned in the field of labor relations, it is also an important strategic cooperation partner of the School of Labor and Human resources at Renmin University of China. The two schools have carried out a number of cooperative projects since 2001, including joint training of doctoral students and joint research. On the other hand, the two schools held the first global labor science dean forum in 2010. Previously, the two universities also signed a memorandum of understanding. Renmin University of China has actively expanded cooperation and exchanges with the world leading academic research institutions and industry giants, such as the energy corporate giant-Shell. What has been done now is helpful to promote scientific research, personnel training and social services.
